Sellers tip: Your items MUST ARRIVE HERE clean and tidy for acceptance and highest sale price 🙂 If your goods cannot be displayed clean, we are more likely to refuse them for auction.
Furniture must be pre-approved – please email us pictures for approval at Newcastle@bidbarn.com.au & we will respond promptly during our business hours.
NB – $1 lot fee per item (upon sale or early withdrawal only) (not inc. GST)
Full commissions charged if goods withdrawn from sale early – goods stay at auction a minimum of 3 auction weekends.

How to Prepare Your Items for Auction
TERMS & CONDITIONS OF SELLING AT BID BARN AUCTION HOUSE
- Goods will arrive clean, tidy and in good condition for acceptance and to achieve the highest sale price.
- Furniture must be pre-approved. Please email pictures for approval to Newcastle@bidbarn.com.au, and we will respond promptly during business hours.
- Goods are lotted in for a minimum of 3 weekend Auctions
- Goods remaining after the 3 weeks of Auctions allowed (with an additional week for you at $0 reserve) are deemed to have been abandoned, and will be disposed of without notice. YOU are responsible for observing the pick up date given for your goods.
- Payouts are Wednesdays & Thursdays ONLY – you must have an appointment for cash payouts – please email newcastle@bidbarn.com.au to REQUEST an appointment, with your customer number – you may not just turn up, as we need to keep the cash back from banking for you.
- You will not conduct any business or potential business on Bid Barn premises.
- You will not approach Bid Barn Auction House Staff, customers or Contractors for business, non-public information about our business, proprietary secrets or work, without prior approval from Bid Barn Management
- Any breach of the above terms & conditions, will result in legal action.
